Vancouver's Precipitation (Zefan Sramek) presents his debut tape release, a collection of wistful, analogue synth-and-drum-machine suites that will get in your head and stay there (I awoke at 3am with one of these ear worms). Crisp 606 percussion carries gently shifting and lilting synth lines, interspersed with sampled vocal snippets and patient break-downs - get hooked in the ebb and flow.

Karen Gwyer unfolds through three long and interesting pieces a focused array of old-school synthesizers and psychedelic influences.
While the last track Hippie Fracca is much closer to ambient and could remind the soundtrack of a 70's movie taking place in space, the first two patiently build frenetic techno patterns holding an incredible emotional charge, climaxing in You Big when it combines the pump organ drones and the errating vocals.
Incredible EP on a fantastic label. Dotflac

Perfect stream of consciousness sound tapestry woven at an extremely high level of mastery. Track down "Advanced Myth", too, as its just as good or better. Both are 5 star affairs. Chris Akers

Some might label this 'Outsider House' but it's more like outside the house.
